sat in the backyard and worked some more on a drawing
and later, went to the lake and skipped rocks

went to sarah’s trailer for her dads birthday. her family usually goes up every weekend now that the weather’s nice, but sarah still has work so we only went up for the day. she’s going back up tomorrow actually & i’m probably going to join her because i have nothing better to do. plus it’s chill.
i swam in the lake a little bit and then tanned for ~3 hrs. i mean i’m already brown so i don’t really do that, but since everybody was i thought i’d try to even out my sickly pale torso (it doesn’t usually see sunlight). we ate dinner, chilled with some of their friends, and then we decided to go back home and go to the drive in.
we saw a bit of pirates (we came late), men in black 3, and 21 jump street. i want to see pirates again since i missed most of it and men in black & 21 jump street were good but not exactly must-sees.
this club in my town always gets me because it’s so stereotypically north american suburb - everyone dressed in all white either lawn bowling or playing tennis. it doesn’t help that they’re right by the lake filled with sail boats. you always see that in movies.
i had some really nice pictures of sarah but they were similar to ones i’ve taken before. so instead i included this blurry one to follow the whole “hometown” theme of this post. the lake’s probably my favourite place to be. (i also like shoes)
